wow... very nice discussion. For a really dominant right handed player "drop the hands" is hard... spin the meatballs is for whatever reason much easier

At least I only snap hook it 1 in 4 now instead of 4/4

Swingman-I am a left hander.I wanted to know in my swing thoughts regarding the downing,Should I be thinking in terms of hitting with my right arm or left.I feel when I use my dominant arm(Left)I tend to hit fat.I now my question is rather simplistic since there is alot more involved in a good swing ,my weight shift is fine.
Thanks G

I'd say focus on the one that works for you. Since the same swing thought in two different people can produce different results, neither is necessarily "correct". As an example, when I play whiffleball and swing left-handed, I focus on my lead arm...but when swinging right-handed, I hit better thinking about my trail arm.

It may help to practice both ways, though. In my golf swing I've experimented with a variety of different thoughts focusing on different parts of the body. Some work better than others, but I found that when I worked on the ones that were weaker for me...after practice they actually became stronger in the long run than my original best swing thought strengths. My swing also actually got better because I had built a deeper internal map of my swing.

I've witnessed Jaacob in person effortlessly crush dead straight shots like guided missiles, one after the other, each one with more power than pros on tour, using this technique. Trust me, it's not b.s.
