are you using the 5d mark II? clear as heck

  2. iseekgolf says:

Yep 5D MII – all details of the camera are in the More Info section on the right hand side of the page

  3. pattyxcakes13 says:

is he across the line at the top or is it just the angle?

  4. raphtm says:

No he is not on plane. He does get across the line at the top and his clubface does get shut at the top. It is probably because of his takeaway. he keeps the face parrallel of his spine angle too long. It doesn’t fan open like it naturally supposed to. But all that does not matter because his downswing is solid and impact zone is excellent. The face gets back to square b4 he hits the ball and that is all that matters.

  5. raphtm says:

Yeah he hits fades because at impact he has to hold it open. Zach Johnson does this also. there is a vid on it with Johnny miller commenting on the holding open of the face. They both have to do this otherwise they wld snap hook the ball like crazy if they naturally let their hands release the proper way. But again who cares. Theyre on the pro circuit making a killing and posting up scores. thats what people really care about.

    very true! nice comment!

  7. chapter13bmw says:

Left wrist is bowed in the slow-mo swing

  8. edwardreyesboi says:

    such a great athletic body!

  9. stevenklong says:

Maybe he has a hook grip.??

  10. raphtm says:

yea that might be true but he still gets across the line and he isnt on plane at the top. but again who cares coz he fixes it on the way down and impact zone is incredible. So it just shows that the swing does not have to be perfect. He has gotten enough of the mechanics down that the flaws dont matter coz he still is ligit.

im pretty sure he hits draws because thats what it said this year at doral. He hits an EXTREMELY high draw. And on some japanese converage his ball was definately drawing most of the time. I mean he take it back shut and he is across the line so he has to hit a draw.

  13. basfrk11 says:

  14. edwardreyesboi says:

yea mate i had a great time.

  15. kuneckid05 says:

that bag is beautiful !! :D should of Tucked his shirt in tho

  16. kuneckid05 says:

Bahh, his pointing finger is straight through-out the swing. HAHA Doddgy

  17. lokelani525 says:

Grip is garbage, club face is shut on the way back, and shaft points right of target at top of swing…needs a lot of work to have a great swing. Of course a great swing is not a prerequisite to be a great golfer, but if Ryo wants to be thought of as having one of the premier swings in the game, he’s gonna have to change a lot of stuff. Rory’s swing destroys this one.

what is that orange sleeve thing on his right arm

  19. TheJazzpro says:

ryo ishikawa won 4 tournaments in 1 year he ‘s the best japanese and will be good in the pga tour

  20. dbs0212 says:

Funny how you say this about his swing when he is one of the best ballstrikers around and is only 18, played on the President’s cup, and what have you done?

  21. lokelani525 says:

Reading is fundamental…I said he’s a great player…Jim Furyk is great player, would you say that his swing is as fundamentally sound as some of the other players on tour? Ryo is obviously a world class player, not necessarily a world class swing.

  22. basfrk11 says:

    its an orange sleeve thing

  23. SkinnyBoySteve says:

@lokelani525 would you rather have a premier swing or have one a japanese tour event at 15

  24. lokelani525 says:

totally illogical…are you saying you can’t win 15 events with a premier swing? use your brain before you ask such an idiotic question. why is everyone so offended? ryo is obviously a great player, he doesn’t have the best swing on tour…what else do you want me to say?

  25. SkinnyBoySteve says:

If you learnt to read you would know i asked you whether you would want to have a premier swing or win a japanese tour event at 15 years old. Why would you point out the bad points in a great player’s swing. What a waste of time you are
